To 15 years of the death of the fivefold world champion Juan Manuel Fangio, the Peña celebrated the Day of the Children with many activities.
The project "Tanguiño" of the company Neotango directed by the young teacher Maykel Marrero displayed of the infantile improvisation in several numbers of tango.
The laughs of the children made happy the evening thanks to the action of the clowns MANDARIN AND NARANJITA and for the enjoyment of big and small, we us receive to the champion children:
Manuel Angles (11 years old), National Champion of Motocross in 65 cc
José Carlos León (10 years old), 2nd Prize in motorcycles racing of 50 cc
Antuan Gil (11 years old), National Champion of Karting
Eric Dubarganes, 2nd Prize in Cadet category
Mario Muro (12 years old), 3rd. Prize in Kartings
And for the first time, the children of the Community Ramp, integrated to the Destacamento Faustino Perez, received their diplomas for having concluded the school course.

Fangio in Cuba in 2010!!!
In
spite of all the misadventures, we could celebrate 3er. Anniversary of
the Amigos de Fangio Association, and with the inventiveness of
cuubans, we show for the first time in Cuba the reply of the wardrobe
that Fangio used and that so generously donate us the Fangio Foundation
across the Barragán family.
The solution?: Otto Alvarez, our
plastic artist did a manikin with waste materials and armed, since you
will be able to see, a doll. He sat it in his Austin and we could
exhibit it in the Peña! What happy we are!
The visit of Virginia Caunedo García, president of the Municipal Assembly of of the municipality Plaza de la Revolucion, in our 3rd. Anniversary, opens the doors of our cultural project " Friends of Fangio " for a new and enterprising stage of work. Since witness wrote to us:
